Emmaus Ecumenical Catholic Community

Palm/Passion Sunday is on April 13th. It is our custom on that Sunday to decorate our new Easter candle. Our members have been given the assignment to be on the lookout for crosses. Each year we choose from the crosses that we find and use that cross as the focal point of our decorations. The decorating happens after mass, and it is fun to witness how a community can come to consensus on how to decorate the candle. You are invited to join us for this fun event. Bring small craft items — ribbons, stickers, other? — to help decorate the candle. Mass is at 10:30 am in the Sacred Space at First Christian Disciples of Christ church.
